Washing the Van

Our van had gotten pretty dirty, and since the weather has been so warm, I decided we would save the $5 for a car wash and do it ourselves.

The kids had fun. Mostly they played in the water, but they did help me a little with the washing. Then they filled up their cups with the wash water and dumped it on each other. Joseph liked playing in the bucket, but did not want anyone else to get him wet.

I'm glad the kids had fun, but it was a lot of work to clean the van. And at the end of all that hard work, it didn't look as nice as a car wash. So from now on, I'll pay the $5 and let the kids play with the hose, buckets and cups!
