Joseph is 21 months old now. He is running all over and wanting to do everything his big sisters do. He loves Dora (which is synonymous with any cartoon character) and will just sit and watch TV. (I would be okay with him not having this trait!) He is starting to talk a lot more. He loves to sing and dance and play Ring around the Rosy. Joseph also has surgery coming up on March 17th. His circumcision didn't heal properly, so the doctor has to go in and fix it. Poor guy!
Miriam is 4. She is very active and interested in everything. She likes to pretend she is different animals. If she is a jaguar, she has to wear clothes with spots on it (any pattern). In this picture, notice the jump rope coming out of her pants. She is pretending to be a spider, and that is her thread. Miriam is excited about turning 5. She wants to have a Dora party (see where Joseph gets it from?). Miriam says the funniest things. She is a deep thinker. The other day she asked if our spirit was in our bones. Hmm. She also likes to explain when other people are doing things that we have taught her isn't okay by saying, "Some people don't understand __________." Fill in the blank with we don't play in the street, we need to be modest, smoking is bad for you, etc. She is a cute girl.
Rebecca just celebrated her 7th birthday on Valentine's day. She had a great time. I thought it was the best birthday party yet. All the games stress me out. This time, we had a pizza party. We had the kids decorate aprons and then make their own pizzas. Then it was free play while the pizzas cooked, and then we had time to eat, presents and cake. Rebecca has been practicing her jump roping a lot. She loves her scooter she got for her birthday. Rebecca is also in gymnastics and is an excellent student.
As for me, I cook, clean, do laundry, and take care of kids! Oh, I guess I fit in a few other things... My good friend Laura is graciously teaching me to swim. My mother asked me the other day, "How did you manage to graduate from High School without learning how to swim?" Well, let's just say I managed it. And now I regret it. But it has opened up the opportunity for me to spend some time with a friend! I also still make cards and do a little scrapbooking.
Jack is busy as always. He is still working for British Telecom. He was out in California a few weeks ago, and has another trip there coming up. He has started a professional blog, but I wouldn't understand what any of it means. Jack is working in the High Priest Group at church.
Well, all the posts won't be this long, but I will try to keep it updated.

Katie, you have a delightful family! Next time I get home I will get north to visit if that's OK.
Yeah! Another blog to follow! The kids are growing SO fast. I barely recognized Rebecca in your Christmas picture.
