A Party at the Farm

For Julie's son Sebastian's birthday, they invited us to a party at The Farm in Fort Collins.  We were able to go on a hay ride...

 See lots of animals...
And pet goats and hold a chick.
We had lots of fun!

Two Little Pigs

Today Miriam was in her room with the door closed and Joseph was outside the door knocking and saying, "Let me in!"  Miriam responded by saying, "Not by the hair of my chinney chin chin!"

Later on, Joseph was running through the house telling us, "I'm looking for Chinney Chin Chin!"

Mother's Day 2011

This year for Mother's Day, we had lots of company.

My dad, Michele and Grandma Wickham stopped by.  They were driving through after traveling to Logan to be with Robert for his graduation from Utah State University.  It was nice to visit for a few minutes with them.
For dinner, Jack's parents, grandmother and siblings joined us for a barbecue. We enjoyed visiting and spending time together.  The kids especially enjoyed the balloons that Grandma and Grandpa brought.

These precious children are the most important part of my Mother's Day.  They are the reason I am a mother!

Alice in Wonderland

In September, Rebecca brought home information about a play the school was putting on.  She wanted to try out to be in the production of Alice in Wonderland.  I think she especially wanted to be in it since she had read the book and enjoyed it.  When we asked her what role she wanted, she told us she wanted to be a flower.
Well, she got her desired role.  Rebecca was a cute flower in the play.  Since her role was just a flower (not Alice or anything), I didn't think there would be much time commitment.  Boy was I wrong!  It seemed that she had play practice a couple times a week for the entire school year!  Rebecca sure had fun, though.  And they all put on a cute performance of Alice in Wonderland.

Missing Something?

April 30, 2011

Miriam was so excited to have a loose tooth.  She played with it and moved it around until it fell out.  Of course, then she dropped it on the floor in her room, and I had to search for it so she could put it under her pillow for the tooth fairy to find it... What a cute smile!

Easter 2011

On the Saturday before Easter, we always color eggs with the kids.  I think this is one of their favorite things about the holiday (after candy, of course!).  This year your ward had an Easter activity that morning that Jack took Rebecca and Miriam to.  (Joseph was sick, so we stayed home.)  They had lots of fun at the activity.

Sunday was Stake Conference with Elder L Tom Perry as our presiding authority.  It was really special to listen to the testimony of an apostle on Easter.  Jack stayed home with Joseph so I could go to Stake Conference.
 Poor boy!
The girls got some puzzle books in their Easter baskets.  Rebecca got a Sudoku book and Miriam got a word search.  They really enjoyed them, and they helped occupy their attention during Stake Conference!

Casa Bonita with Grandpa Mike

Dad told me that Ann had never been to Casa Bonita, so we decided to meet there for dinner one Saturday night.  The kids always have a great time watching the divers and the shows.  This time they got to see the gorilla show.
They also had fun playing the arcade games.
